Bring on the rain

I love the country song Bring on the Rain", especially the line "...And I'm thirsty anyway,  so bring on the rain. "

I'm thankful for the rain. I know it makes for a dreary day and we would all love to stay home in bed, but we need it. In fact it makes our fall colors even more beautiful.

Besides, if it were sunny all the time we wouldn't appreciate those sunny days so much. Overused wisdom aside, it's true and sometimes on wet days we need to be reminded of that.
